Every trim of the Tundra is powered by the same engine - a turbocharged 3.5-liter 389 horsepower V6 engine. This powertrain is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and uses rear or four-wheel drive. This setup allows the Tundra to tow up to 12,000 pounds and carry around 1,940 pounds. And according to the EPA, is model gets about 20/24 miles per gallon.
